Hi. How are you?
Hope you find this letter in your best spirits. It has been such a long time that I have written anything to you for that accept my apologies because college has been so hectic lately I barely get any time to sleep. But I promise you from now on I will write a letter to you on weekly basis so that you, and mom would not stay worried about me.
With summers approaching I know you guys expect me to be home to spend the holidays with you but I want to join an extracurricular activity. I have been searching, and with all the sports that I have been experimenting I have discovered I have flair for swimming in me. Water has always intrigued me you remember when I was little I always used to ask me to wither the lake, or the beach, and now my instructor has told me that if I put enough effort into it I can make it into inter states competition.
I know you would never stand as a hindrance in my success but I want to ask permission from you formally that will you allow me to join the college swimming team.
