Missed Exam due to illness
With due respect, I would like to inform you that I couldn’t take my Chemistry Exam on Monday, 3rd September (Date) as I was not feeling well. I was completely prepared for the paper but on the last moment my health started to get worse. First, I thought it was due to nervousness and exam pressure so I didn’t take it seriously. But, on the day of exam, I had spots all over my face and found out that I have measles. It all happened so suddenly that I had no time to inform administration of school. Even after this, I was persistent on taking the exam but as you know that this virus spreads so I didn’t want my class fellows to get sick because of me so I thought that staying at home was for the best.
Furthermore, I am in top 5% of my class students and I don’t was this situation to effect my academic record. I request you to reschedule my chemistry exam on other day as mocks examination are very important for my university applications too. As a proof, I will attach the medical certificate which can be forwarded to the head office.
I am looking forward to your response. If you help me through this problem, I would be very thankful to you.

Subject: Missed Exam due to illness.
Hope you are doing well. I have been trying to write to you and inform about my absence in detail but I regret that the fate did not favor me for quite some time. I was well prepared for the final exams but as it is said ‘the troubles come in threes’, I caught severe fever and cough the night before the geography examination which made me unable to gain consciousness for next seven hours. I was not able to take the final exam which is already a depressing thing for me to realize. But now, as I feel better, I felt a dire need to inform you through email about the illness I had faced lately. I would request you to please have a look at the medical certificates attached hereby with the email and consider my request to reappear in the exam in the upcoming session. My previous academic scripts are a proof of my intelligence and I would be encouraged through your act of kindness to grant me permission regarding the aforementioned request.
