There has recently been an opportunity at our university to join a rock climbing club. I am asking for your permission to join this rock climbing club. Since I was a child, I have always had a passion for rock climbing. I am sure you are well aware of this, as when I was a child all I wanted to do in my free time was rock climbing. Whether it was an actual rock climbing attraction at an amusement park, or simply any place I could find to climb, I was willing to do it.
I am excelling in my studies, and I have a lot of spare time. I wish to commit this spare time to my love for rock climbing. Not only would it make me very happy, but I would also be physically, and emotionally fit. I promise to you that I would not let it distract me from my studies.
I hope you allow me to do this.
