Permission Letter To Take Part in Debate Competition

With due respect, I wrote this letter to ask for permission for taking part in inter-campus debate competition, being held at Ravi Campus. I went to the event coordinator regarding the event, and he told me that I need a permission letter from class teacher to participate in it.
I am aware of the fact that the competition will be held in the end of November which is close to our Mid Terms. But as you know that from the beginning I have always been among the top 5% of class so I will not let this event affect my grades in any way. I promise not to miss any classes, and even if the practices would be done in school timings, I will cover the entire missed course within a few days with the help of my class fellows.
Furthermore, you can look into my profile that even in the past; I have taken part in many debate competitions, speech competitions, and done comparing of various events. Not only have I participated in them but also scored 1st Place in many of them. I assure you that I will not disappoint you in anyway, and will work hard to win this competition.
