If you are and educated person and you still do not follow the rules; such as traffic rules, we see many people breaking traffic rules because they are in a rush which causes many unfortunate accidents and innocent people lose their life; this happens due to lack of education, you need to follow the laws in order to call yourself an educated person.

            Moreover, another crucial aspect is about the kind of education that is being given at schools. These days education is one of the biggest businesses in the world, schools are paying more focus on the amount of money that they can make instead of paying attention on the quality of education that they are providing. Many students who are incapable to pass out there grade are given extra favors due to involvement of their parents who do not let their child fail because they have an agenda of paying high fee so they don’t let an institute take any action against their child. Same is with the system of schools they want money so they do whatever the parents ask them to do, which is morally and ethically a wrong act.

            From quality one has to pay attention to the quantity as well, presently the schools that are running are pressure-rising their students to choose all the subjects which are mostly contrary to their interests which results in lack of their attention; if a student does not like what he studies he loses his focus and is not able to perform well. We need to change our system and let students choose subjects apart from compulsory subjects of their own interests; it will not only help them to learn well in fact they will be able to perform well in other subjects as well.

            Due to lack of resources we have two kinds of institutes one that is fully equipped which would be called an A grade school and the other which lack resources due to financial problems which are considered as B grade schools. These divisions within the schooling system create a sense of insecurity among the students and they are not able to get the kind of education that is a right of every student. These distinctions need to be removed for a better quality of education.

            As aforementioned, if the role of education is properly served the students which is the future of world can turn out to be the biggest and successful names in the world. Very strong and influential words are written by Joseph Addison, “What sculpture is to a block of marble, education is to the human soul. The philosopher, the saint, the hero, the wise and the good, or the great, very often lie hid and concealed in a plebeian which a proper education might have disinterred and brought to light”; this is the role played by education, it finds out diamonds from coal mines.

            Another issue that needs to be highlighted is the role of an educator, the teacher who is the main source of information for the pupils. A teacher can instill in the minds of students what no one else can do; she can place the love of knowledge and education in the hearts of her pupils so that they can learn in a better way. A teacher is a person who influences her students the most, they look up to her. The way she treats her students leaves imprints in their heart, so a teacher needs to be very careful about her behavior, “The secret of education lies in respecting the pupil.”(Ralph Waldo Emerson).

            With a proper system of education and responsible attitude of teachers education can serve its purpose and enlighten the minds of many people. For a prosperous future and a civilized society education is a must and people seeking education should also be responsible and sensible about their duties; together we can flourish and reach the sky and education gives you the wings to fly.

Education is a word we almost hear every single day of our lives. Here and there education is something that is affiliated with almost everything in the world somehow. I ask my readers and expect them to answer honestly “How many of us really know what education is?”

The meaning of education is something that is not well known among many people today and this fact is quite sad, I mean you are well educated but don’t know what education really is? Let’s take Albert Einstein the famous physician for an example. Was Albert Einstein over qualified? Was Einstein a double PhD degree holder? The answer is plain no, he wasn’t.

Einstein and many more people who have excelled in their field of work had one thing in common…which was curiosity. They were curious, curious for everything happening around them.
Sir Isaac Newton, the man who discovered gravity was just a shepherd before he came up with the discovery…What would you do if an apple would fall on your head? You would just ignore the happening but Newton grew curious…Curious to know what was actually happening? And he came up with the discovery of gravity later on.

Education demands curiosity, it is a need that has to be fulfilled somehow someway. Being educated also means you’re brought up, the way you walk and talk, your attitude towards the ones below you. Everything associated with you and your personality is a part of your everyday education.

Let’s not confuse ourselves here. Academic education is on the top of the list without any doubts and then come all the other forms of education. Being academically highly qualified means you have the knowledge almost 50% of people around you don’t have. It means that you hold the knowledge of your mastered field and can come up with a solution to every kind of your problem.

Being educated brings up a lot of responsibilities upon you as well. You start your education career by the age of 6 or maximum up to 7 and carry it on until the age you are in right now or maybe even more. The most beautiful thing and the most perfect fact about education is that the knowledge never finishes. Your greed for knowledge and your hunger to be better than the most sitting around should never end as well. Being highly knowledge actually does the work of a matchstick in some people and motivates them to be better and bring out a better version of themselves.

Although most nations claim in their mission statements and every other speech that “Education is everyone’s basic and fundamental right?” But are you actually providing them the education? I ask the leaders sitting above us…Hasn’t education now become just a form of business? Schools today, universities of every kind ask for fees that are clearly above the earning level of a common man. What does a common man do then? He makes his children sit home…and what happens when the children sit home you ask? Their minds never develop. From most of the children their age you will feel that they are underdeveloped and their minds don’t work as sharp and as efficient as compared to the children who are actually getting an education. I thought that education was for everyone but clearly we don’t see it.

Education is made up of the word “To educate” which means to tell, to transfer knowledge. Knowledge is a very broad and a much scoped word when I say it. By knowledge I don’t only mean your academics, by knowledge I mean everything you need to know today including academics.

My dear students, consider yourselves among the lucky ones if you are subject to education, if your parents can afford your education and can handle your academic expenses, a lot of people today even in the 21st century are unable to educate their children just because how schooling, college and academics as a whole has just become a business. It is a shame to know how some people have snatched this right from others just for the sake of making this a business.
To survive in this growing and this competitive world, education is something that needs to be addressed and that needs to be handled carefully.  As I mentioned before about how education is not restricted to certain things, the making of a child to a man is based upon his / her education as well, that education can be your home education too.

Home education is a field of education that is as important as your academic education, children start their education from their homes, The manners to talk, to speak, to sit, to stand, to walk, to sit on the table, the manners to eat, your posture and everything you can think of is a part of your daily education and is a very important aspect of your brought up. Today being a qualified is a thing to be proud of, being qualified means that you are better than most people out there and you know certain things that most people don’t which indirectly makes you better than them in certain aspects of life. Being qualified is not only necessary for you to get a livelihood but is also very important in the brought up and upbringing of your future children.

I would like to end my speech by saying that the highly educated people today are all successful and are all assets to their countries and it is their rightful duty to pass this gift onto others below them , to educate them and to show them what’s it like to be educated and how to compete in this rising age.
