My reminder did not appear. What should I check?
Make sure notifications are allowed for Google Chrome in your operating system. You can also use the Test Notification option in SemiOffice Notes. Keep Chrome running so scheduled extension reminders can be handled.
Where are my notes stored?
Notes are stored locally in the browser by default. Google Drive Backup is optional and must be connected by the user.
Does SemiOffice keep a copy of my notes?
The extension is designed without a SemiOffice notes server or database. Core notes remain local; optional Google backup goes to the user's own Google account.
How do I make a backup?
Open Backup & Google Drive. Use Export Backup for a local JSON file, or connect Google Drive and use Backup Now when Google backup is available.
How do I restore my notes?
Use Import Backup for a local SemiOffice Notes JSON backup, or Restore from Google for a previously created Google backup.
Report a problem
When contacting SemiOffice, include your SemiOffice Notes version, Chrome version, operating system, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and a screenshot when possible. Do not send private note contents unless they are necessary to demonstrate the issue and you are comfortable sharing them.
